Dassault Aircraft Services (DAS) and Aearo Technologies LLC announce that the Federal Aviation Administration has awarded Aearo Technologies Supplemental Type Certificate for installation of thermal acoustic insulation systems on Falcon 900 and 900EX.
Aearo Technologies President Dan Renninger said, "Being involved in one of the industry's most versatile business jets is an exciting opportunity for us. It is also an acknowledgment that our collaborative approach to technology development for the after-market supports the industry's focus on cabin comfort."
"After conducting a baseline sound survey flight test for a customer with a Falcon 900B, Aearo Technologies presented us with a tiered sound reduction plan that was weight based," said Dassault Aircraft Services Vice President of Sales and Marketing, David Lamb. "The customer was very impressed and selected the full application. DAS is pleased that we can offer legacy Falcon 900 operators this product so that they can continue to operate their Falcon up to today's advanced standards."
